International Trade Fair & Congress for Biotechnology

As the most influential professional biotechnology exhibition in China, BIOTECH CHINA has witnessed its successful premiere in 2007. 135 companies / organizations from 17 countries showcased their latest technologies and products at the 3-day event. It attracted 4,853 professional trade visitors representing 19 countries .

The event was held on the basis of the venture cooperation of Deutsche Messe - the world-renowned exhibition company, and organizer of BIOTECHNICA, Europe's leading trade fair for biotechnology and two local experienced companies - World Expo Group Shanghai Modern International Exhibition Company (SMIE) and Shanghai Technology Convention & Exhibition Company (STCEC).

BIOTECH CHINA serves as  a business and communication platform for biotechnology and pharmaceutical enterprises and their application areas, gathering the industry's leaders, their products, newly developed technologies and latest trends in research and development in one place.

For 2008, BIOTECH CHINA has been included in the "Foreign Trade Show Support Programme" of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Technology of Germany, which supports the participation of German companies in this important economic hub by organizing a German pavilion.
